INTRODUCTION

This course will address all relevant legislations on leave and public holidays which need to be understood by those who manage employees at the
workplace.
The lack of it or in many cases, improper knowledge of these legal provisions often lead to unnecessary disputes between parties involved. Employers will be well advised if they update them-selves on the law in regard to the above legislations.
The understanding and compliance of laws on leave and holidays is crucial to enhancing good employer/employee relationships. Without industrial harmony, it is unlikely that the employer would be able to achieve the standards of production expected from his employees.

OBJECTIIVE
To equip participants with the basic understanding of legislations on leave and public holidays with the new EA (Amendment) 2022

SPEAKER PROFILE
Mr K.Kesavan is the HR/IR Advisor of FMM. Mr K.Kesavan, worked in the Enforcement Division, Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, IR Department and retired as the Principal Assistant Secretary to the Policy Division (Labour Policy Division) in year 2017.
