Seminar on Optimising Workplace Ergonomics For Safety And Health
¦ June 13, 2025 (Friday) · 8.30 am – 5.00 pm H Weil Hotel, Ipoh
Ergonomics is the science of designing workplaces to suit the needs of workers. By optimising ergonomic practices, the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis and back pain can be significantly reduced. The advent of mass automated production has led to many repetitive work processes, introducing a new area of concern in occupational safety and health: ergonomic hazards. In recent years, there has been a notable rise in cumulative trauma disorders and work-related injuries and illnesses.
