The Amendment made to Section 27A of the Fire Services Act in 2018 by Jabatan Bomba has made it COMPULSORY for all building owners, occupiers or management of designated premises to establish ORGANISASI KESELAMATAN KEBAKARAN [OKK] as a pre-requisite for Fire Certificate application and renewal.

Familiarize employees with the use of fire fighting equipment and enable companies to act immediately and effectively during emergencies. 
To learn the objective and role of an OKK  
To enable employees to understand and expose them to the proper procedures of installation, maintenance and usage of fire fighting equipment at their factory / building premise. 
Awareness on compliance to hazardous material management according to the state and federal regulations
To comply with the Fire Certificate requirement

Property / Facilities Manager &Executives, Department Heads, Safety and Health Committee Members, Line Leaders/ Supervisors and other’s responsible for fire safety and prevention, evacuation plan and control of fire.
