The E - invoicing system is scheduled to be implemented on August 1, 2024 for taxpayers with an annual turnover of more than RM 100 million and thereafter fully implemented by July 1, 2024. The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRB) has recently issued several e-Invoice Guidelines to clarify the scope of thee-invoice implementation. The Guideline also contains additional clarifications and instructions on the upcoming e-invoicing mandate.
