Podcast: Beyond investment: What should success look like for Malaysia?

FMM President Mr Jacob Lee Chor Kok, joined by Mr Antony Lee representing the ASEAN Business Advisory Council recently participated in EY Executive Exchange’s podcast, “Beyond investment: What should success look like for Malaysia?” , hosted by Ms Farah Rosley, Malaysia Tax Managing Partner, Ernst & Young Tax Consultants Sdn Bhd to discuss Malaysia’s investment competitiveness and creating greater value for businesses and the economy. 

Mr Jacob highlighted manufacturers’ changing priorities, supply chain resilience, technology adoption and sustainability, alongside the need for clear implementation of the New Incentive Framework. He also called for Budget 2027 measures that leave more capital in businesses to support better wages, innovation and higher-value manufacturing, ensuring investment gains benefit SMEs and the rakyat.
