FMM Supports Hong Kong–Malaysia Business Seminar to Strengthen Regional Business Linkages on August 12, 2026

FMM President Mr Jacob Lee Chor Kok attended the “Hong Kong: Your Strategic Springboard to the Chinese Mainland and Malaysia” Business Seminar cum Networking Lunch, organised by Invest Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office on August 12, 2026, at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur. The event was graced by YB Sim Tze Tzin, Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, and featured opening remarks by Mr Algernon Yau, JP, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Commerce and Economic Development Bureau, Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).

FMM participated as a supporting organisation for the event, which aimed to strengthen business and economic linkages between Malaysia, Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland. It provided a platform for businesses to gain insights into Hong Kong as a strategic gateway to the Chinese Mainland, explore market and investment opportunities, and establish business connections to facilitate greater cross-border collaboration.
