The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM) successfully coordinated a delegation of 65 participants from 37 companies to visit the PROPAK ASIA 2026 from June 9-12, 2026, held at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center. The delegation was joined by Dato' Andrew Goh Boon Kim, Deputy President of FMM.
As Asia’s premier international trade exhibition for processing and packaging technologies, PROPAK ASIA 2026 showcased the latest innovations in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, consumer products, and industrial manufacturing sectors. The 2026 edition was held at a new and expanded venue configuration within the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, providing increased exhibition space and enhanced facilities to accommodate the growing number of international exhibitors and visitors. The exhibition also featured five dedicated activity zones focusing on key industry segments and emerging technologies, offering delegates valuable opportunities to explore advanced machinery, automation solutions, packaging innovations, digitalisation initiatives, and sustainable manufacturing practices.
Throughout the exhibition, delegates gained insights into the latest industry trends and technological developments while engaging with international exhibitors, technology providers, and industry professionals from across the region. The event served as an excellent platform for knowledge sharing, business networking, and the exploration of potential partnerships and investment opportunities.
In addition to visiting the exhibition, the delegation participated in a factory visit to Ichitan Group, one of Thailand’s leading beverage manufacturers. The visit provided delegates with firsthand exposure to large-scale beverage production operations, automated manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and sustainable production practices. Delegates gained practical insights into operational excellence, production efficiency, and the application of advanced technologies in modern manufacturing environments.
