Courtesy Visit To MIDA Kedah/Perlis Office

During a courtesy visit on November 23, 2021 to MIDA Office, Alor Setar led by Mr Ng Lai Choon, the Branch Chairman, the committee members met up with Tuan Harun Elik, the Director of Mida Kedah/ Perlis. Puan Rohani and En Zaidi, both the MIDA Deputy Director also present.

Mr Ng and other committee members highlighted issues of:

a) Unresolved utility and infrastructure problems at the industrial areas which can cause potential of fatal accidents such as old tree felt to main road during rainy/stormy season.

b) Manpower shortage issue.

c) The prologed cases of Kuala Ketil land issues

d) FlashFlood at Changlun-Arau Highway (in front UNIMAP) 

e) For MIDA to re-evaluate the cost of doing business in Kedah.
