COURTESY VISIT BY HIS EXCELLENCY MR. PETER SPIŠIAK, AMBASSADOR OF THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC TO MALAYSIA

FMM President Mr Jacob Lee Chor Kok, accompanied by FMM Deputy President Dato’ Goh Boon Kim, FMM Chairman of Selangor-KL Branch Dr Helena Eian Yeut Lan and FMM CEO Datuk Dr Yeoh Oon Tean, received a courtesy visit by His Excellency Mr Peter Spišiak, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Malaysia, on August 20, 2026, at Wisma FMM.

The meeting served as a platform to exchange views on Malaysia–Slovakia bilateral relations and explore opportunities to strengthen business and economic cooperation between both countries. The discussion focused on enhancing linkages between the Malaysian and Slovak business communities, facilitating greater industry engagement and exploring potential areas for collaboration between FMM members and Slovak companies, particularly in the manufacturing sector.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss ways to further promote trade and investment ties, business matching and industry-to-industry cooperation, with a view to building stronger connections between Malaysian and Slovak manufacturers.
