Final Determination of Anti-Dumping Duties on Imports of Clear Float Glass Products by Vietnam

Reference is made to FMM Circular RC-9-2026 dated February 24, 2026 regarding the updates on the provisional anti-dumping duties imposed on imports of clear float glass products originating from or exported by Indonesia and Malaysia. The products are classified under HS Codes 7005.29.20 and 7005.29.90.

On June 12, 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam announced its final determination, officially concluding the anti-dumping investigation and imposing definitive anti-dumping duties on certain colourless (clear) float glass products originating from or exported by Indonesia and Malaysia.

In this regard, the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (TRAV) announced that it is accepting applications for exemptions from the anti-dumping duties. In accordance with Circular No. 26/2025/TT-BCT, imported goods may be considered for full or partial exemption if they fall within any of the following categories:

  • Goods that cannot be produced domestically
  • Goods that possess characteristics that cannot be substituted by domestic products
  • Goods constitute specialised products
  • Goods that are unavailable in the domestic market under normal commercial conditions
  • Goods that are imported solely for research, development or other non-commercial purposes.

For further enquiries regarding the exemption application, members may contact the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (TRAV) through the following contact details:
