FMM Institute Sarawak signs Letter of Collaboration with Malaysian Plastic Manufacturers Association (MPMA) Sarawak
KUCHING, 4 November 2021 — FMM InstituteSarawak and MPMA Sarawak formalised their future collaboration in providingsuitable training programmes for members of MPMA Sarawak. FMM Sarawak wasrepresented by its Vice Chairman, Leslie Phuan Puay Khiong while MPMA wasrepresented by its Sarawak branch chairwoman, Madam Rebecca Sim Kin Hui. MPMASarawak will promote FMM Institute training programmes to their members whileFMM Institute will identify and customise suitable programmes to meet the needsof MPMA members.
FMM Institute was incorporated as a subsidiaryof the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) on January 12, 1999, toexpand and focus on its training functions, in line with the objectives of FMMto develop the potentials and enhance the skills of personnel at every level inthe industry. This will create a pool of manpower trained in all aspects ofindustrial skills and management capabilities to face the challenges as thecountry moves into the status of an industrialised nation. With this collaboration, FMM Institute hope to fillthe gap on the needs for more skilled workforce in Sarawak.
