Access road built based on workers' feedback

Workers at the Prai Industrial Park on mainland Penang can now enjoy smoother rides to the Penang Bridge with the completion of a million-ringgit access road in Tingkat Perusahaan 4C.

Penang Chief Minister Tuan Lim Guan Eng said the 81.5 metre-long access road which linked Jalan Perusahaan to the industrial park was a result of outcome-based planning. Feedback from workers at the industrial park were sought to ensure that the construction of the road would be relevant to their needs.

The entire cost of the access road was borne by the Penang Development Corporation (PDC) as part of its corporate social responsibility.
