Have you ever looked around your office and see how much paper (single-sided printed A4 paper, bank statements, business cards, post it notes, bill statements etc.) lying around that end up in the wastepaper basket?

It’s time to start using GREEN SENSE in the office to stop money from flowing out; save energy, time and most importantly, the Environment!

 The Penang Green Office Project, carried out by the Penang Green Council (PGC), is now open for audit registration. There are only three (3) simple steps to participate:

(1) Create an account at www.pgc.com.my/penanggreenofficeproject;
(2) Answer the question in the assessment tool. Your office will be qualified for a site audit if your readiness rating is at least 70%;
(3) Indicate your interest for a site audit to be certified as a Penang Green Office!

The benefits as a certified Penang Green Office are:
(a) A certification plaque and certificate;
(b) The right to use the Penang Green Office logo on all official documentation, advertisements and other publicity material;
(c) Participation in the certificate presentation ceremony;
(d) Participating department/ office name to be published in  PGC website;
(e) Advertisement in Buletin Mutiara.

Green Office assessment is open throughout the year. Cut-off months for Green Office’s audit application and audit session are March-May; application and audit session open in June every year.
