The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) Penang Branch will be organizing a FMM Penang HR Workshop “Managing Employee Disciplinary Issues in the Workplace & Legal Deductions – for Better Productivity & Efficiency” on April 02, 2013 at Ixora Hotel, Penang.

This intensive one-day workshop is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and techniques to deal with and resolve cases of indiscipline in the workplace in accordance with the labour laws and industrial practices of the country. This programme also provides some background of the country’s Employment Act which are in line with the Disciplinary Procedures so that employers know how they can use it to manage discipline, legal deductions within its workforce, be it a factory or office environment.
 
The workshop will begin by explaining in simple and practical ways the Progressive Disciplinary Procedures and how it is implemented to obtain a disciplined workforce. This is done through both Preventive and Corrective Discipline.

The workshop will cover several pertinent and relevant areas of how to conduct a proper Domestic Inquiry, and what legal deductions are possible when faced with these disciplinary issues, thus bringing about better productivity and overall efficiency in the workplace.
