In their effort to increase awareness on e-waste to the public, the Department of Environment (DoE), Melaka has launched their programme on Collection of e-Waste 2013.The Department has appointed Meriahtek (M) Sdn Bhd, Krubong Recovery Sdn Bhd and Victory Recovery Sdn Bhd to collect the e-waste at a few designated location. The collection of e-waste has already been carried out in Taman Bukit Beruang Utama and Taman Bukit Beruang Indah. Other selected locations are Taman Paya Emas ( January 12, 2013), Taman Angkasa Nuri and Taman Merdeka Jaya (January 19, 2013), Taman Rumbia Perkasa (Janaury 20, 2013) and in Taman Bukit Cheng on January 26, 2013.
