9 September 2011 - PEMUDAH (Special Task to Facilitate Business) Melaka had its first meeting on June 23, 2011 with Datuk Jeffery Ong being elected as co-Chairman. The Committee will meet once in every two months. The following issues were raised during the second meeting held on September 9, 2011:

• Access to UNIFI's service for the industry sector

• Complaints raised on Melaka e-Aduan Portal

• Takeover of solid waste management and public area cleaning by SWM Environment Sdn Bhd from Sept. 1, 2011

• To create a One Stop Centre payment for utilities/assessment and quit rent bills

• To enable payment by cheque for water and electricity bills at TM Point

• Customs Department online payment portal.

• To draw up a guideline on transfer of property/land
