HR BUSINESS PARTNER

UNILIN is best known by the general public because of its Quick-Step department and employs 4000 people at 17 production sites in Europe, the US and Asia. UNILIN has a 900 million Euro turnover and is part of the internationally listed group Mohawk Industries, Inc. In addition to laminate flooring UNILIN also manufactures engineered wood (Quick-Step), laminated boards, MDF, HDF and chipboard, click furniture (Didit), roof systems and insulation boards (UTHERM).

The Malaysian plant, located in Sungai Petani, has been in operations since 1968, and was acquired by the organization in 2007 as part of its aggressive development plans in the Asia region.We are looking for a real change agent.

The HR Business Partner reports to the General Manager and works closely with the management team in building employee and organizational excellence through organizational development and talent management including acquisition and retention, training and development, efficient rewards and remuneration program and, leadership and employee engagement. You will be the focal person representing the Company in its talent management initiative, from the point of attraction to retention, including developing operational policies, systems, criteria, tools and protocols that are designed to attract, develop, evaluate and retain top notch talents. Positioning the organization as an employer of choice, you will lead recruitment activities, interview and selection process, on-boarding and familiarization process and facilitating employee communications, performance management and succession planning, in the organization. In alignment with global practices and the regional expansion strategy, you will lead change management initiatives in the organization. You will be integral in cultivating and promoting a performance-driven environment including implementing employees development and talent management programs. You will be the business partner to all Managers of the business units and at the same time be a trusted HR partner to all employees, and act as a conduit between teams and the management in enhancing organization effectiveness through collaboration and overall performance. You will work closely with your HR team in the headquarters, to ensure alignment of practices and deployment of global projects and initiatives.

Job Requirement :

  • At least 10 years and above in relevant  HR and Talent Management working experience.
  • Possess at least  Bachelor Degree in HR Management or other degree.
  • Can work independently and good communicator in all level of personnel.
  • Can play a roles as a team player and work hand-in-hand with HR Manager.
