GST for MANUFACTURING SECTOR: GETTING STARTED!

The Malaysian Government has announced its intention to include the Goods and Services Tax (GST) as a component of the overall tax regime in Malaysia. Although the implementation date of the GST has yet to be announced, the Government has called on businesses to be GST-ready.

FMM in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance (MoF) and the Royal Malaysian Customs will be organising a Seminar on GST for Manufacturing Sector: Getting Started on 27 to 28 February 2013 (Wednesday – Thursday) at Park Avenue Hotel, Sungai Petani, Kedah. The Seminar is to equip manufacturers with a better understanding of the GST system in Malaysia, its impact on business operations and the preparations required to comply with the GST requirements.
