International business co-operation and cross-border exchanges are the key to achieving durable and stable economic prosperity in all countries. In the external trade scene, Malaysia’s manufacturing sector accounts for 82% of total exports. For small and medium sized enterprises in particular, international business ties and the sharing of expertise in the international arena are crucial for corporate development and stability.

To facilitate export activities among its members, FMM conducts briefings/seminars on export facilities and incentives, updates on inter-regional and international trade co-operation such as ASEAN and WTO, organise business meetings between foreign trade delegations and local manufacturers as well as trade missions overseas. FMM is also authorised by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry to issue and endorse Certificate of Origin (please refer to “Trade Support” for details).
