Tan Sri Dato’ Soh Thian Lai, FMM President cum President of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (NCCIM) exchanged and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI), represented by Dr Sunny Chai, Chairman and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), represented by Mr Ronald Ho, Regional Director of HKTDC, respectively during the Malaysia-Hong Kong Business Luncheon, which was graced by the Honourable Mr John Lee Ka-Chiu, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on July 28, 2023 in Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The Business Luncheon aimed to strengthen economic cooperation and trade ties between Hong Kong and Malaysia was attended by 200 pax with some 30 business leaders from Hong Kong. YB Tuan Anthony Loke, Minister of Transport Malaysia delivered the Keynote Address at the event, which was also attended by HE Ouyang Yujing, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Malaysia.
