Reference is made to FMM’s Circular CD/13/2023 dated November 11, 2023 on the implementation of 100% scanning on all export containers and mandatory declaration of Customs Form K2 (Export) before containers enter the Free Trade Zone Area in Port Klang. The Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) has issued a revised Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) dated November 16, 2023 (received by e-mail from RMCD Selangor on November 17, 2023 @ 12.20pm) for the release of export containers (Cargo/Laden) with 100% scanning and mandatory declaration of Form K2 (Export) has now been expanded to include mandatory declaration of Customs Form K3 (Export of Dutiable and Non-Dutiable Goods within Malaysia).
