The 4th edition of the National Economic Forum (NEF), organised by the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Malaysia (NCCIM), was held on May 9, 2024, at One World Hotel, PJ. Themed "Strategic Innovation and Global Alliances: Propelling Malaysia to the Forefront of the Global Economy," the event featured a Keynote Address by YB Tuan Mohd Rafizi bin Ramli, Minister of Economy, which was delivered by YBhg Datuk Dr. Zunika Binti Mohamed, Deputy Secretary General (Policy) of the Ministry of Economy.

YBhg Tan Sri Dato’ Soh Thian Lai, President of NCCIM, delivered the Opening Remarks at the Forum, following the Welcome Remarks by YBhg Dato’ Gan Tack Kong, Chairman of the Organising Committee of NEF 2024 and Deputy Secretary General of NCCIM.

The Forum, featuring a Special Address by YB Tuan Chang Lih Kang, Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, drew nearly 600 participants. It comprised three informative panel sessions that examined the impact of the Madani economic vision on Malaysia's economic transformation, strategies to bolster the nation's innovation pathway, and approaches to ensuring currency stability.
