Tan Sri Dato’ Soh Thian Lai, FMM President delivered the Opening Remarks at the Malaysia-Japan Economic Dialogue, co-hosted by FMM, the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) and Nikkei on October 25, 2023 in conjunction with JCCI Economic Mission to Malaysia. The event, attended by over 200 pax was officiated by YB Senator Tengku Zafrul Bin Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI).

A Memorandum of Understanding was inked between FMM and JCCI, represented by Mr Ken Kobayashi (JCCI Chairman) aimed to establish a framework for collaboration between FMM and JCCI to support industrial development in Malaysia and Japan and to strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation between the business community of both Parties.
