The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) successfully convened a comprehensive seminar today, focusing on the Malaysia-United Arab Emirates Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (MY-UAE CEPA). The event commenced with Welcome Remarks from Dato’ Andrew Goh Boon Kim, FMM Vice-President, followed by a Keynote Address from H.E. Dr. Mubarak Saeed AlDhaheri, Ambassador of the UAE to Malaysia, highlighting the strategic importance of the agreement. Key presentations followed, including insights on "Doing Business in the UAE" by Ms. Nouf Ibrahim Alkuwaiti of the UAE Embassy, a detailed overview of the CEPA by Ms. Sumathi Balakrishnan of MITI, and market insights from Mr. S. Jai Shankar of MATRADE.
The afternoon sessions provided practical guidance on navigating export procedures under the CEPA. This seminar provided a valuable platform for Malaysian manufacturers to gain in-depth understanding of the MY-UAE CEPA.
