The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM) undertook a significant courtesy call to the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) in Bangkok on June 10, 2025. Led by FMM President Tan Sri Dato' Soh Thian Lai, the delegation included FMM Vice Presidents Dato' Nathan K. Suppiah and Dato' Andrew Goh Boon Kim, along with FMM Youth Committee Chairman Mr. Stanley Siew and FMM CEO Datuk Dr. Yeoh Oon Tean. Fruitful discussions were held with FTI's key leadership, including Vice Chairmen Mr. Chartchai Panichewa, Mr. Vathit Chokwatana, and Mr. Arin Jira, underscoring a commitment to strengthening industrial collaboration.
This strategic engagement, further supported by the presence of Ms. Jayagowri Pindaya, Minister Counsellor of Economic Affairs, MITI Malaysia, and Mr. Worawan Wanwil from Thailand's Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), focused on exploring new avenues for trade, investment, and partnership. The courtesy call reaffirms FMM's dedication to fostering robust economic relationships within the region, ensuring mutual growth and prosperity for both Malaysian and Thai industries.
