Courtesy Visit from Mr Sandeep Poundrik, Secretary Steel, Ministry of Steel, Government of India

FMM President Mr Jacob Lee Chor Kok, together with FMM President Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr) Soh Thian Lai, FMM Vice Presidents Dato’ Sri Victor Hii Lu Thian and Dato’ Palaniappan Joseph, FMM Council Member Mr Mark Wing Kong,  Chairman of FMM Eastern Branch Ir Kua Jit How, Chairman of the FMM Negeri Sembilan Branch Ms Koon Mei Yuen and FMM CEO Datuk Dr Yeoh Oon Tean received a courtesy visit from Mr Sandeep Poundrik, Secretary Steel, Ministry of Steel, Government of India together with the Indian business delegation. The delegation was accompanied by H.E. Mr B.N. Reddy, High Commissioner of India to Malaysia on February 26, 2026.

The discussion focused on strengthening mutual collaboration and exploring investment opportunities in key sectors of shared interest, including steel, minerals, and critical minerals, with both parties exchanging views on potential avenues to further promote bilateral cooperation and investment.
