FMM President, Mr Jacob Lee Chor Kok, together with FMM Vice Presidents Datuk Noraini Soltan, Dato’ Palaniappan Joseph, and Ms Michelle Hah Mei Kian, FMM Council Member and Chairman of FMM Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Branch Dr Helena Eian Yeut Lan, and FMM CEO Datuk Dr Yeoh Oon Tean, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Ouyang Yujing, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to Malaysia on May 18, 2026.
The meeting focused on strengthening Malaysia–China trade and investment cooperation, as well as exchanging views on global challenges arising from the West Asia conflict, particularly supply chain disruptions and material shortages. Both sides also discussed on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), including efforts to enhance connectivity and deepen industrial and supply chain collaboration between Malaysia and China.
