Tan Sri Dato’ Soh Thian Lai, FMM President attended the networking dinner with H.E. Hirose Naoshi, Vice-Minister for International Affairs, Ministry of Economy,Trade, and Industry (METI), Japan on June 20, 2022. The dinner was also attended by FMM Vice-Presidents [Dato’ Nathan K Suppiah and Dato’ Andrew Goh Boon Kim] and Mr Araki Kaname, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission from Embassy of Japan and Mr Yoshiaki Fuse, Director for ASEAN Bilateral Relations (Asia& Pacific Division), Trade Policy Bureau, METI.

Among the topics discussed include Malaysia-Japan trade relations, Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and U.S. Indo-Pacific Economic Framework.
