FMM President, YBhg Tan Sri Dato' Sri Soh Thian Lai accompanied by FMM Vice Presidents, YBhg Dato' Nathan K Suppiah, YBhg Datuk Noraini Soltan, YBhg Dato' Goh Boon Kim and FMM Council Member/Chairman of FMM Energy & Utilities Management Committee, YBhg Dato' Steven Aroki paid a courtesy call to YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah Bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister cum Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) on June 10, 2024. Among the energy related issues discussed were the high imbalance cost pass-through (ICPT) surcharge and the upcoming initiatives under the Incentive-Based Regulation framework for Regulatory Period 4 (2025 - 2027) as well as the energy transition plan. Industry's proposal to waive the requirement for two-day water storage with condition was also highlighted.
