The FMM Kedah was officially opened on February 18, 2008 as a Representative Office. On October 8, 2009, the Reps Office was upgraded as FMM Kedah/Perlis Branch.

Membership of FMM is open to all manufacturers and companies (trading,services,institutions,sole proprietor/partnership,etc)registered in Malaysia, large, small and medium-sized industries, whether foreign or locally owned or operated on a joint-venture basis.
